What is Kakigōri?

Kakigōri is a traditional Japanese dessert made from finely shaved ice, typically flavored with a variety of sweet syrups.Kakigōri has a history dating back to the Heian period (794-1185 AD) and is mentioned in "The Pillow Book" by Sei Shonagon as a luxurious treat for the aristocracy.Today, kakigōri has evolved from an exclusive delicacy to a popular dessert for everyone. You can find it in various forms across Japan, from traditional shops to modern specialty stores.

Our special touch

We use ice from Kanazawa’s Kuramoto Ice, which is slowly frozen over two days to make it melt-resistant and perfect for enjoying kakigōri longer. Our syrups are house-made with a lot of care. To make things even more exciting, we offer a variety of toppings like foam , jelly, cookies, fresh fruit, and baked goods. This mix of flavors and textures makes every bite a fun and delicious experience.
